US foreign policy toward Africa: An African citizen perspective

Youth Policy and the future of african development

The exclusion of youths from political and diplomatic engagements has led to a lack of knowledge of foreign policy among the African youth. Youth inclusion and propositions should be included in diplomatic negotiations. Validation of foreign policy should also align with youth development objectives and goals before mainstreaming.

Restructuring of political organization and legislation for youth inclusivity reduces the gap in political and governance marginalization as candidates, voters, and members of the government.

Young people in Africa are excluded both in political and diplomatic participation and develop an attitude to politics and their inclusion in political matters due to the social environment.

Civic education should be introduced in schools to teach about the political and diplomatic process and the skills needed to participate.
